Joining the Bayeux Bowmen Archery Club

To join the Bayeux Bowmen Archery club, all new archers must first attend our 'Have a Go' sessions at Horntye. During these weekly sessions out coach and instructors provide hands-on guidance covering essential skills, foundational techniques, sight adjustment, and scoring. After this introductory period, archers are required to purchase their oen equipment. Once they demonstrate consistent attendance, health and safety application and basic shooting skill progression with their personal equipment, the Bayeux Bowmen committee assesses their readiness with the Arrow Award evaluation. Upon meeting the required standards archers will then be recommended for full membership with Bayeux Bowmen.

Age Requirements:
Participants must be at least 12 years old. Junior archers (under 18) must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who is required to stay during the session for safety and support.
